Technical Guide: Parameters Plot

This module, mod_miografico (v1.3.0), allows researchers to perform plots of ionospheric parameters directly from the INGV - Iononet repository. It is designed to facilitate the retrieval of large datasets for automated processing and analysis.
Plots of the selected ionospheric parameters at the different receiving stations.
In green and blue the plots of the selected parameter, and in red and orange the 15 days averange values.

1. How to Use the Plot Parameters Portal

To plot ionospheric paremeters  data, follow these steps in the section below:

• -15 days: To switch the entire plots of minus 15 days.
• From : Click to select the starting data of the plots and press the submit button.
• To : Click to select the ending data of the plots and press the submit button.
• +15 days: To switch the entire plots of plus15 days.
• Parameter: Click on the parameter radio button to plot the selected ionospheric parameter and press the submit button.
  - fof2: fof2 parameter in MHz.
  - hmf2: hmf2 parameter in km.
  - muf(3000): muf parameter in MHz at 3000 km of distance, calculated using Autoscala applied to verticalizated ionograms.
  - mufNN: muf parameter in MHz, calculated at the distance between Tx and Rx using the new AutoscalaNN (using Neural Network code) applied directily to the oblique ionograms.
